Meet Torquay Physiotherapist Kristina Kluz
Kristina is an internationally experienced Physio with over ten years experience across Austria, Japan and Australia. Grounding herself in the treatment of adventure sports injuries while chasing snow seasons across the world in her twenties, she then returned to Melbourne where she worked with a broad range of athletes and injuries. These ranged from football and netball, to triathletes, distance runners and everyday gym goers or office workers. Kristina ensures she treats each client holistically and enjoys treating all regions of the body, with particular interest in;
- Foot and ankle pain/injuries
- knees and hips
- running injuries and return to run
- Instability/hypermobility
- Shoulder and neck issues
Kristina moved to Torquay, from Melbourne, at the start of 2023 with her fiancé as they agreed it was time to walk the talk of a work life balance and living somewhere they could optimise an outdoor active lifestyle. Kristina regularly surfs, runs and kayaks around the breaks, trails and rivers of Torquay and the Surf Coast. Whilst her days of chasing snow seasons may be over, when she has the time and the conditions are right she can be found shooting up to Hotham or across to NZ during the Australian winter or punchy snow trips to the Northern Hemisphere in our Summer.Fun random fact about Kristina – she has just started keeping quails and would love any tips from fellow poultry enthusiasts.
